Hi! My name is Sedir Morais, I’m a Brazilian software engineer, born in Natal/RN and living in Japan since 2023.
I currently work as a backend engineer at 
PayPay. Before that, I was a digital health researcher at 
LAIS and completed my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at 
UFRN. I’ve been passionate about technology since I was a kid. Programming became a way for me to express myself and create.
I’ve also had the pleasure of being actively involved with GruPy-RN, a local Python community group in Rio Grande do Norte. There, I helped organize meetups, talks, and other initiatives to strengthen the local tech ecosystem.
In my free time, I like to travel, bike, explore new games, and dive into learning Japanese. I enjoy the idea that I’m always building something—whether it’s a project, an idea, or just a good conversation.
